Cooks Coffee Company operates in world markets and is listed on the NZX market under the symbol of CCC. It has been listed since October 2008. It owns the intellectual property and master franchising rights to Esquires Coffee Houses worldwide (excluding New Zealand and Australia). CCC currently operates or franchises Esquires Coffee Houses in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Middle East, Pakistan, Portugal and Indonesia. Cooks Coffee Company was formed as Cooks Food Group Limited, after a memorandum of understanding was signed in January 2008 between Tasman Capital and Murdoch Foods, Sahara Foods and Cotterill and Rouse. It's name was changed to Cooks Coffee Company in March 2022. The company’s Executive Chairman is the largest shareholder with 20% and in total 44% of the shares are held by Directors, Staff & Franchisees as at 30th June 2025.
